The story of
Vasilis Maneas
Born and raised in the city of Veria, Greece, one would say that I always knew that I was a little bit different.
Different in the sense of what I like, how I communicate and what I value the most. I love reading books, and from a very young age that was something that made my communication and the language that I use, not the most common in comparison with others. I remember my mother been concerned one day when I was 13, after bringing some psychology and philosophy books from the library where she asked me “Why don’t you just go out and play soccer like everyone else”? Well, I guess that’s what made me who I am today (and my mom is more than proud)!
As for what I value the most?

Storyline

2003
Started my studies at the “Informatics and Computer Technology” university in Lamia, Greece.

2006 & 2007
Served in the Greek Special Forces army as a Green Beret Command Paratrooper.

2008
Graduated with honors as one of the top 3 students of the year and received my Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering.

2008 & 2009
Worked as the youngest Informatics professor at 2 educational institutions.

2010
Started a photography business which granted me 41 International Photography Awards and recognition as 1 of the top 25 photographers in the world.

2017
Certified as a “Licensed Practitioner of NLP™” and as a “Licensed Master Practitioner of NLP™” from the Irish Institute of NLP™ in Dublin, Ireland.

2018
Certified as an “Accredited Mind Coach” from the Irish Institute of NLP™ in Dublin, Ireland and as a “Licensed Trainer of NLP™” from the co-founder of NLP™ Dr Richard Bandler and The Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming™ in Orlando, USA.

2019
Started a coaching business where I provided personal development coaching and consultancy to individuals, couples and businesses.

2020
My book “The magic of the human mind” gets published in Thessaloniki, Greece. The same year I closed my photography and coaching businesses and moved from Greece to Denmark.

Today
I am working in Copenhagen, Denmark, applying NLP™ principles, Mind Coaching, and psychological safety frameworks to transform high pressure technical teams into cohesive, resilient units. I am also doing some 1:1 coaching sessions and providing leadership trainings.
